The Software Doctor

Privacy policy

Effective October 19, 2026. This policy covers thesoftwaredoctor.com, the site of The Software Doctor, a web studio run by Andrew Lowery.

What we collect

If you book a call, ask for a Free Website Diagnosis, or write through the contact form, you send:

The phone number is optional. Please don’t send passwords, payment card numbers, or anyone else’s private information.

How we use it

Andrew reads what you send so he can reply, schedule a call, and email your website diagnosis. We usually reply within 1 business day. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising profiles.

Who handles it

The site is hosted on Netlify. Form notes are delivered to Andrew@TheSoftwareDoctor.com through Netlify Forms. Netlify processes those submissions as our host. You can read Netlify’s own privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

Analytics

The public site does not run visitor analytics unless Andrew turns a measurement tool on later. If that happens, it will be a privacy-friendly count of visits, such as Plausible or Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization. It will not be used to sell ads. This page will be updated when that changes.

How long we keep it

We keep form notes for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of the work you asked about, then delete them. Email Andrew if you want your note deleted sooner.

Your choices

Email Andrew@TheSoftwareDoctor.com to ask what we have from you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. You can also call or text 240-893-6247.

Children

This site is for business owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
